What I Will Deliver

A comprehensive plan centered on community safety, youth recreation, tax relief, and sustainable local infrastructure for Milton.

I will secure Milton's streets by advocating for increased Halton Regional Police funding to combat property theft and fraud, while partnering with local organizations to launch more secure Neighborhood Watch programs.

To protect local children and walkability, I will fast-track physical traffic calming infrastructure like speed cushions and raised crosswalks near schools, backed by strict enforcement of the new 40 km/h neighborhood limits.

I will advocate that new community centers and youth recreational spaces be built concurrently with new housing, giving our youth constructive, healthy places to grow right in their neighborhoods.

I will shield homeowners from massive property tax hikes by implementing a strict "Growth Pays for Growth" model, maximizing development charges on corporate developers to fund new infrastructure instead of local families.

I will protect premium employment land from heavy warehouse sprawl. Through smart zoning updates, I will incentivize retail plazas, restaurants, commercial spaces, and offices to create high-quality, local jobs.

I will fight gridlock by securing the new Agerton GO Station and pushing Metrolinx for true all-day, two-way rail service, while optimizing Milton Transit routes to connect new neighborhoods to major hubs during peak hours. I will advocate to finally add bus lanes to Milton and to connect more Transit to neighboring municipalities.

I will prevent unchecked urban sprawl by mandating mixed-use zoning, legally requiring new developments to include local retail shops, medical clinics, pharmacies, and walkable trails directly in their blueprints.

I will end stop-and-go traffic frustrations by partnering with zero-cost AI initiatives like Google Green Light and expanding real-time adaptive smart signals to synchronize major corridors like Derry and Britannia.
